Having been born and raised in Piedmont South Dakota by two self-employed parents, Suzette learned early on what it takes to run a business and how to establish good customer relationships. At age 14 she began as a sales associate for their store, Alex Johnson Mercantile. Upon high school graduation Suzette attended and received her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing in 2002 from the University of Montana-Missoula. After college she moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota to pursue a career in banking. However, she left banking and Minnesota behind to raise her two incredible children in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. Her love for Rapid City and the surrounding area provided her the opportunity to promote “home” as a tourist destination all over the nation and that enthusiasm landed her smack dab in the middle of Downtown Rapid City where she helped coordinate the Downtown Association. Her passion and love for the community is what thrills her with her latest venture in Real Estate. Selling homes is something Suzette has always dreamed of doing and now life has allowed her to pursue her passion of helping people find a little piece of the Black Hills to call home.
